Our History

"CRAFT SHOP + WEAVING STUDIO"

It's called "Found & Made."

We deal in textile tools and threads, DIY parts, Scandinavian vintage items and Japanese antiques.

This shop also has a hand weaving atelier.

The reason I started the shop was in Sweden.

In 2014, I attended a summer school at a handicraft school.

The school is located in Dalarna, a region of Sweden where traditional crafts and traditions remain.

There are many shops in the area named "Hemsloyd," which means handicrafts in Swedish.

I was excited by the atmosphere of the place and the store, packed with handicrafts and tools.

I wanted to run a craft store like this,

In January 2016, we started the online shop "Found & Made".

In spring 2017, a physical store and atelier opened in Kunitachi, Tokyo.

Although it's a slow pace while raising children,

We want to help you with the "handicrafts" in your daily life, even if just a little.

We would also be happy if this could become a place where people can connect through handmade crafts.
