Work the back stitches. Knit back and forth, increasing for the armholes, and finish with ribbing. Pick up stitches for each shoulder of the front left and right. Before joining the front, increase towards the armhole. Work the front back and forth, increasing for the armholes, and finish with ribbing at the hem. Pick up stitches for the armhole band as follows: Using a crochet hook, pick up stitches for the tie band, continue picking up stitches along the armhole edge of the back/front, and finish by picking up stitches for the tie band at the end of the row using a crochet hook. Work the armhole band and tie band in ribbing and bind off with an Italian bind-off. Knit the neck and fold it in half. Knit the slipover with double yarn (= 1 strand SUNDAY + 1 strand TYNN SILK MOHAIR).

GIA ZIPPER SWEATER / Double Sunday ・ Tynn Silk Mohair (Available at our shop)
Sunday (2 strands available at our shop) will be about the same thickness as Double Sunday.
Work the back stitches. Knit back and forth in short rows to shape the shoulders diagonally,
then continue knitting to the armhole, transferring the remaining stitches to a holder. Next, pick up stitches for each shoulder of the front left and right. Increase stitches for the neck and knit short rows in the same way as the back, joining the two fronts into one. Knit the front to the armhole, joining the back and front with the same circular yarn.
Continue knitting the back/front in stockinette stitch, decreasing on each side, and finish with ribbing. Pick up stitches at the armhole edge for the sleeves. Knit the sleeves in stockinette stitch and finish with ribbing.
Knit the neck in double knitting. Sew in the zipper.

Knitted from the bottom up to the armholes.Stitches are transferred to a spare thread.
Pick up stitches from each shoulder of the left and right front panels. Decrease and increase toshape the neckline, and at the same timeknit short rows with GSR to create sloped shoulders. Join the two front panelsinto one and knit up to the armholes. Join the back and front panels, continue in the round as shown in the diagram, and finish with ribbing.
Pick up each stitch at the edge of the armhole for the sleeves.
Knit the sleeves in the round as shown in the diagram, and finish with ribbing.
Knit the neck in ribbing and fold twice to the WS.
