The Colette Dress has a 1x1 ribbed bodice, a textured skirt pattern, and i-cord edges. You knit the dress from the top down, with a slit at the back of the neck and raglan increases. You begin knitting with a provisional cast-on, working back and forth in rows with the right half of the stitches first, then the left half to create the neckline and shape it. You then join the parts and continue in the round, finishing with an i-cord edge at the waist. With the i-cord edge, you pick up stitches for the skirt and knit the skirt in the pattern according to the diagram. You knit i-cord edges on the sleeves and neckline.
You knit the dress with double yarn (= 1 strand of Sunday + 1 strand of Tynn Silk Mohair).
