This collection contains good quality basic garments for your wardrobe. The most special design this time is the Vienna Blouse. It is a beautiful construction with saddle shoulders, peplum, bow and tie. The best part is that the tie can be worn both in front and back.
The Oxford Cardigan is named after the oldest university in the UK. It's great to wear in an old, cold study hall. The Zoe Zipper Sweater Dress is also warm, cozy and soft to slip into on a cold day. It's great to wear as a dress or with pants underneath. The Hadley Sweater will quickly become a favorite, especially when knitted in Peer Gynt tweed. You can find the Brooke Cardigan pattern, along with the accompanying yarn, at both Børstet Alpakka, Sunday and Kos. The Lacy Scarf comes in three sizes. The smallest size is perfect for wrapping around your hair, for example. In the catalogue photos you can see the intermediate size. The Abbey Sweater is an oversized fit with European shoulders and side slits. It fits a variety of body types. The River Sweater is a slim fit, so if you want some freedom of movement, knit a size larger. The Louis Sweater is the perfect basic patent sweater. There's also a mini-match option here. This pattern is also available for children ages 2-12 in our 2303 "Soft Knit for Kids" collection. The beautiful River cardigan is finished with a bright statement collar and pearl buttons. Start knitting the back stitches and continue knitting by folding the row back and forth to create a slanted shoulder, down to the armpit.
Knit each shoulder stitch on the left and right front, then fold the row back and knit each back and forth, adding knit stitches for the neckline.
Connect the front and continue down to the armpits.
Continue knitting in the round until you join the back and front and split to make the side slits. Knit each piece separately.
Knit a stitch at the edge of the armhole to make the sleeve. Knit a stitch in the round to make the sleeve. Knit a stitch at the neck to make the neckband, then fold in half WS.
