Merchant and Mills Sewing Book. The first third of the book is devoted to talking about tools and materials, and introducing basic sewing techniques with illustrations and photographs. The last two-thirds of the book is devoted to how to actually make clothes, interior accessories such as cushions, bags, etc., and the envelope at the end of the book contains full-sized patterns. Although the entire book is in English, the easy-to-understand structure and graphics make it an enjoyable read. The binding has a nice craft feel to it. It would make a great sewing textbook.
